If you live in Latvia and are well into 80's rock music there is a good chance that you have heard about a band called Bloody Heels. They are From Riga, Latvia and this saturday they celebrated their 3rd anniversary in the good yet not so old Rockcafe in Riga (Latvijas 1. Rokkafejnīca.) I guess their sound can be best described as glam rock/metal with some modern influences. I find their music very 80ish (in a good way) yet somehow with a modern vibe to it that kinda refreshes their music and distinguishes them from a lot of copy/paste bands that try to be absolutely everything that 80's bands were back in the day.
I really don't know how many shows they'd played in total and I've been to a lot of them but this one was easily my favorite. The performance, the show, lights and everything. Plus some new songs as well. I think there was 2 or 3 songs I hadn't heard before but one of them - "People Against The People" really caught my attention. Eagerly waiting to hear the recorded version now.
Guys read this - YOU'RE GREAT! And keep it up, congrats on your 3rd anniversary and I wish you to carry on and wake up some day in the future with a thought that you gotta play a sold out arena that night!
